Westwind Wizard#2 Red Light in Gear HandleDuring “COLD WEATHER” an improperly serviced nose strut may not extend completely during take-off, not allowing it to activate the nose landing gear uplock microswitch when retracted, resulting in a red light in the gear handle. Be sure to have it serviced in accordance with chapter 12 of the maintenance manual.
