#6 Passenger Oxygen Mask Drop Check

If you are coming in to Trimec for an 800 hour "C" inspection we have a suggestion for operationally checking the cabin oxygen mask drop out system. This will also familiarize you with what goes on during mask drop out.

1. Level aircraft off at 16,000 feet.
2. Slowly open manual dump valve (red knob).
3. Watch for "10,000 FT CABIN" light on annunciator panel to illuminate at 10,000 foot cabin altitude.
4. Cabin should level off at 13,000 feet.
5. Select RAM - cabin will climb - you should get red "PASS OXYGEN ON" light on the passenger oxygen control panel on the copilot's side console and a simultaneous drop out of the passenger oxygen masks.

Let them hang and we will inspect and repack them.
